Project Scope

A first-year graduate studio assignment where we were tasked with designing a luxury urban residence based on a client profile. I studied universal design practices and integrated them into the home to help my clients age in place accomodate one resident’s dementia impairment.

Inspired by electic design that tells a story, I chose furniture and lighting pieces that reflects my clients French and Brazilian heritage. A lush pattern voice simulates the outdoor world for a couple who might soon be confined to the barriers of their apartment, as they learn to live with the limitations of a Dementia impairment.
